JCA Allocation:

For nearly 23 years, AdoptaPlatoon has relied on direct mail to recruit and maintain the large Membership we have. . . Additionally, direct mail is used to maintain our subscriber base in our award winning publications. This is one of our primary mission statements. We communicate by postal mail -- and other channels -- not only to generate income and maintain our membership base, but to educate the public thereby advancing our mission. As a result, in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines, we allocate a portion of our direct mail costs to program services and to fundraising.

Troop Information

We at Adopt A Platoon (AdoptaPlatoon / AAP) take measures to protect the information entrusted to us by U.S. deployed Troops very seriously and do everything in our power to keep Troop information secure. The on-line application process for deployed Troops to contact us via the AAP website is encrypted by a trusted database service and we take every effort possible to keep military information safe and secure and do not share said information with the public other than what we are able to post on the Adopt A Platoon website. Adopt A Platoon does not give the public access to U.S. deployed Troops for their safety, security and privacy.
