I strongly believe that simple words and action mean more to people than any monetary value anything can hold. That is why I emailed AdoptaPlatoon. What you all do does not go unnoticed. This is my 3rd deployment, and I am so impressed that 20 years after my first deployment Americans and AdoptaPlatoon still care. Some of these Soldiers are single and left home to join because it was their last choice or something new to experience. To see that what they have done and are doing on behalf of our Nation is not in vain is rewarding. This is the reason some of us do this and continue to do it …For People like you. I wanted to let you all know that those who have enrolled in your program are touched daily by your kindness and we thank you greatly! So again, thank you and your team.
