Christmas came early for 1-40th Cavalry deployed to Afghanistan!

1-40CAV_soldier-packagesSun Honda / Harley-Davidson, Denver Colorado’s largest power sports dealer have supported the soldiers of 1-40th Cavalry deployed to Forward Operation Base Herrera during their tour of duty to Afghanistan and they made sure Christmas came early for these proud warriors!

Message from Peter Denison, Marketing Director:

It’s been a very rewarding experience for all of us here at Sun Harley-Davidson and our Harley Owners Group chapter has amazed us all by their incredibly generous support. On October 30th we mailed over 75 Christmas packages, one for each of our soldiers at FOB Herrera plus a dozen extra boxes for recent drop-ins. I’ve attached a picture of the men unloading the pallets of boxes and I think they’re amazed by the volume of gift boxes we have been able to send. We’ve made some great friends and I just hope that someday we get to meet our heroes in person and shake their hands. We want to thank AdoptaPlatoon for everything you’re doing for our service men and women, and I know that it must be as rewarding for you as our AAP experience has been for us… Peter Denison, Sun Honda / Harley-Davidson, Denver, Colorado.
